Wellington Women’s Health Collective
Wāhine ora o Te Waimāpihi
Accessible and affordable mental health support for Wellington women since 1986.
Our Services
We are a dedicated team of support workers and counsellors, offering compassionate care, counselling and regular workshops for low-income wāhine.
Our services are for anyone who identifies as a woman, and non-binary people who would prefer a women-centred space.
For more personalised support, your journey starts with a one-on-one session with a triage worker who will take the time to understand your needs and connect you with the most suitable services, including our in-house counselling team, where applicable.
Visit our office during working hours for free pregnancy tests, condoms and menstrual cups.
PLEASE NOTE: Our counselling appointments are now full for 2025 and new clients will be waitlisted for 2026.
Fundraiser movie screening
Please join us for a fundraiser screening of Pike River at Light House Cuba on Tuesday 11 November.
Doors open 5.30pm for a 6pm screening.
Need Help Now?
If you need immediate assistance because someone is in physical danger, call 111 or go to the local emergency department for an immediate response.
Our Supporters
We are able to operate and provide essential services thanks to all of our generous supporters. Their commitment enables us to continue our work and make a positive impact in the lives of the wāhine in Wellington. We deeply appreciate your contribution to our mission.
