  • Megan

    COMMITTEE MEMBER

Kia ora! I'm an Indigenous Canadian hailing from the Mi'kmaq and Inuit nations. As a lifelong wanderer who has found a sense of belonging in the manaakitanga and whenua of Aotearoa, I have experienced and observed the benefits of tribal care and building community connectedness.

I have a vested interest in women's well-being, and as a queer person I lean heavily on intersectionality and supporting equitable outcomes for everyone. I'm currently studying my Master's in Counselling, and I look forward to becoming a holistic care provider who serves and supports the wahine of Te Whanganui-a-Tara.

  • Chelsea

    COMMITTEE MEMBER

I’m Chelsea, a born and bred Wellingtonian whose worked in women’s health for over 10 years and currently providing abortion services as a midwife. I’m passionate about equitable, accessible care and creating a calm, judgement-free space where people feel genuinely heard. I am also the founder of First Steps, offering antenatal education to local parents.

I’m a mum to two small girls, and outside of work you’ll usually find me at one of Wellington’s many playgrounds, planning my next meal and dreaming about a glass of bubbles I might one day have again.

  • Caroline

I joined the Committee in late 2024 and acted as the secretary until May 2026 when I stepped down to become an Associate Member. I am honoured to support this amazing team to deliver a vital service to women in Wellington in this role, and as a student counsellor.
